Allergy Season 

For most people there are 4 seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall. For me I have what I like to refer to as “pre-seasons.” Right before spring and fall, I fall into allergy season. More than 50 million Americans and I start to suffer from watery eyes, stuffy/runny nose (it’s like having a nose with a split personality) and itchy throat and sneezing!


The one thing I can’t live without during preseason is my oil diffuser. I run it for four hours in our bedroom at night, and during days that I’m home, it’s running non-stop. There’s an system boosting blend that smells fresh, and clean, and really helps my sinuses and the itching in my eyes and throat.

 •Lemon•Peppermint•Lavender

 

I’ve been using Young Living oils for about two years now, and I rarely go a day without using one in some form, most often in the diffuser. This is by far my favorite blend.

  • 3 drops Lemon
  • 3 drops Peppermint
  • 4 drops Lavender

I use more of the lavender simply because it seems to help best during these seasons. I’m not saying I don’t take allergy medicine, but this is a really nice way of getting relief that some of those medicines don’t provide.
